The BetaflightF3 FC represents more than just another step forward in flight controllers, it’s the result of months of working with pilots around the world to assemble the ultimate flight control package.
Every detail has been carefully considered to take full advantage of the capabilities in Betaflight.
BetaflightF3 is the flight controller designed to use every possible feature of Betaflight. This board features a 3A power draw giving users extra room for added attachments through UART ports. ESC connections are made using large solder pads on the top and bottom of the board. The fully functioning OSD can be directly configured in Betaflight so you won’t have to spend time figuring out extra connections and changes.
The teams at Betaflight and FPVmodel worked hard developing Dshot to produce the best Dshot integration of any flight controller and ESCs running Blheli_S. Dshot makes it easy to connect your ESCs because the protocol is digital. No more ESC calibration!
The BetaflightF3 flight controller is now even better with Betaflight 3.1.
Some of the highlights in version 3.1 include:
No longer do you have to re-solder your motor leads after connecting your motors in the wrong order. In Betaflight 3.1 you can simply switch output pin assignments in your flight controller and be flying your drone faster than ever before.
Changing PIDs Over Telemetry
If you have a Frsky Taranis you can now modify your flight controller PIDs from the transmitter. Since the Betaflight OSD is also integrated you can see your PID values so you don’t have to guess which ones worked best when it comes time to save. Betaflight 3.1 also improves loop times so you can get even more responsiveness out of your BetaflightF3 flight controller.
Spektrum RSSI and FlySky Custom RX Support
Ever wanted to see your satellite receiver’s RSSI data in your video feed? The ability to see your Spektrum satellite receivers signal strength in the Betaflight OSD is finally here.
For pilots with certain FlySky receivers you can now use IBUS in Betaflight!
BorisB and the team at Betaflight did a fantastic job fitting in lots of new features and improving the entire experience. Kiss ESC telemetry, “anti_gravity_threshold” parameters, and Blackbox enhancements are just some of the few. For more details and manual for the BFF3 see the Betaflight GitHub
